Default PCS and Blood pressure

Hello, I am a new member. I fell on black ice 6 months ago, hitting the back of my head. Recently I developed sudden episodes of raised blood pressure. It takes awhile for the pressure to come down to normal levels. Stress definitely contributes to the raise in BP, but this symptom is new. I am wondering if anyone has experienced these symptoms, and how long can I expect to have these issues.. weeks, months??
I appreciate your time and responses. Thank you!

Hello neetadee,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support groups!

Sorry to read about your fall and your post concussion problems.

Follow the link that Darlene has left you to the TBI/PCS forum.
At the top of that forum are the "Sticky" threads. There's a wealth of information in those threads that may be of help to you in your recovery.

I recall other posts regarding raised bp and concussion. You may like to do a forum search there. Just click on the Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome forum in the list on the right and you can search for posts specific keywords that way. note that the term "BP" will not work in the search feature though... the keyword needs to be at least 4 letters.

All the best to you. You'll find a lot of support and information here.
take care in your recovery.
