Frown Newby

Hi everyone,
I`m new to my condition and to any Forum, my name is Newby and I live in Romania, arriving 3 yrs ago, as a pensioner I cannot afford to live in England.
When I was still in England, I already had Diabetes, but is under total control with pills and had a TKR and had a bad fall playing Squash falling backwards and out of it for about 5 mins, on getting up I had all the symptoms of a stroke down my right hand side, speach ok, brain ok but MRI says I did not have one although I have had one in the past to which I never knew anything about
I hope this info is useful to anyone who can help me reduce the daily pain in walking, pills, physio, electrolysis, nothing appears to work ( help )
in anticipation

Hello newbyt,

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

A couple of forums you may like to read or post on are

Diabetes / Insulin Resistance / Metabolic Syndrome Forum

Traumatic Brain Injury & Post Concussion Syndrome Forum

Stroke Forum

There is also the
Chronic Pain Forum

Have a look around and also check the main page for all forums as there are others that you might like to read. If you have any specific questions regarding your knee replacement then you could run a search in the Forum Search Feature remembering that your search words need to be longer than 4 letters for it to work. So instead of searching for TKR, you could try - knee replacement - or similar.

I am sure you'll find support and information here. Just post again if you have any difficulty.

take care and I hope you find some answers to help with your pain.
