I have Myasthenia Gravis I am looking for a support group I will have IVIG this next week if it's approved by my health insurance I am not looking g forward to five or more needle sticks .

Hi! I'm from the MG forum, please join us. Is this your first time receiving ivig? If so then a few things to expect. You should get a dose of benadryl prior to the ivig (consider not driving, etc.). The infusion should start out slow and may be sped up after an hour. My infusions lasted 4 hours. The group on the MG forum can give you more information and answer many of the questions you may have. Good luck with the insurance and the infusions. Jim
