Hello everyone!!
First off I would like to thank everyone who participates in this forum, I've spent all night researching about colloid cysts. MY husband found out about a year ago that he had one. He was experiencing pain, tingling and numbness in his right arm and fingers. Finally they sent him for an MRI and found the cyst. I wasn't at the appointment with him, but as far as I know the doc didn't say much. The last month his headaches have gotten real bad, so has his dizzie spells. I tried getting him to go to the hospital last night, with no luck. I don't think either one of realized how serious this can be, until I researched it last night. Now I'm scared for him, does anyone have a few words or advice for him? I just don't want him to wait to go to hosp till it's too late, he won't listen to me but maybe he will listen to one of you. My prayers are with all of you!! I appreciate you taking the time to read, sorry it was so long!! I'd appreciate any feedback, Thank you!! |

would love to have an image on a MRI that pointed to something treatable, removable, to have it pinpointed and have a Doc point to it and say"There is your problem right there". I am sure that the Doc had an action plan and as much as men hate procedures, we hate being crippled more. The risk-reward will tell the tale. Good Luck, Ken in Texas.

Hello April,
Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups! I wanted to let you know that there is a Colloid Cyst Forum I'm sorry that your husband is having such difficult symptoms. If his dizziness and headaches have changed for the worse since his last appointment then he needs to go back to see his Doctor I would think. I wonder if you could go with him so that you can both learn more about his condition and what to expect. That way it might not be so scary for you. Wishing you both all the best! |

Another option is get a copy of the MRI report and /or the images, and seek a second opinion or 2..
also - Call his doctor and tell him things have gotten worse, and see what he says..
