Hello and welcome to Neurotalk. Many forums here to match your symptoms as closely as possible. As you learn to navigate the site, reading the "stickies" is a good step to keep you from asking uninformed questions. You are welcome on any forum but just at first glance, I feel you might goto the forum above and read the stickies there. If you start using the search function, you need four or more charachters. I have Periferal Neurapathy induced by trauma of car wreck, so I can relate to the cord compression. Good Luck, Ken in Texas. P.S. Forum Search Feature

You can type in specific keywords either forum wide or one specific forum.
I just tested "cord compression" for example and it brings up posts in various forums.

Lit Love is a good egg. Welcome to the forum. It is a great place for sharing and support. I hope your visit to neuro goes well. If you don't get what you need you might try Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I have had good luck with them. They have a different approach towards pain and dysfunction than many docs.

Hi Vegetagirl,

Just wanted to say good luck with your appointment. I have just been away from the Forums due to a fall severely aggravating the Spinal Cord Compressions in my neck. Turns out, from emergency MRI, I have 3 compressions at C 5, 6 and 8. I will also have compressions in my Lumbar region, but have not had a recent scan on this area.

I hope I can help you in any way I am able after your appt. I am no Medical expert, but I have years of experience coping with the pain.
