Confused nerve damage from surgerys?? anybody??

Hi..My name is Julie....Just wondering if anybody has had this happen...Back in Feb. ,I had a total hysterectomy ( all vaginally )....right after that , I had severe pain in my colon and gallbladder area...the surgeon I went to see for that thought maybe the doc that did my hysterectomy might have nicked something or damage something..i didnt care ,,just wanted to get fixed to get back to work....had the gallbladder removed in March...started having pain in abdomin above bellybutton...thought it was just from surgery....went back to work about 3 weeks after surgery..hurt alot..then I had a huge infection above my bellybutton area bigger than my hand...went to see my family doc. because the gallbladder surgeon was out of town...He said he had never seen anything like it before ..he put me on 2 antibiotics and told me to see my gallbladder surgeon as soon as possible so he could see this...went back to him..redness went away now i have more pain than before..he sent me to a specialist....to make a long story short he said I have nerve damage , all around that area..he first put me on lycira..yes it helped but i could not function with that..now on neurontin..i dont feel drunk with that stuff but it doesnt help as well.....doc said it may go away..it may not....Has anybody had this happen to them and what was the outcome??? some times it hurts so bad..(the more I streth across..reach..bend over..etc... by the time I get off work..I am totally spent..my stomach is very tender..sitting down on breaks at work helps..but comes right back.....please any info would help...please...thanks
