Hi Vikashperiwal

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

An elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) is often a marker for inflammation or infection. It is non-specific, which means that it does not show whereabouts in the body the problem may be.

It might be an idea if you suggested to your mother that she sees an Ear Nose Throat specialist. An ENT specialist should be able to examine her and come up with suggestions about her throat.

All the best.

If she's had the endoscopy that must have ruled out a number of problems including polyps.

Which medications do they have her taking now (apart from the B12 and the Vitamin D)?

When you go to the doctor or the hospital do they give you copies of the results of the tests? If so, do you know what her B12 level is?

Has her Thyroid been tested?

Does she have gastric reflux?
