Exclamation Anuerysm treatment and headaches

This is my 1st time ever on ANY forum but I'm a little concerned. November 4th I had a 10.6 mm aneurysm coiled and stented. It is behind my left eye. I am getting terrible headaches from the left back of my head going to the front. I've had these since the procedure not before. They only feel "better" on pain meds. This is 3 weeks out is this normal? I live in Alaska and the doc is in seattle so just going in to follow up isn't an option and it's a month before I can get in to my primary care physician.

Default Aneurysm and headaches

Hello Tammyl

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

You could post on the
Aneurysm Forum

That's a long time to have to wait considering the serious nature of your condition.

How about a visit to a GP in the meantime?

Having such severe headaches after the surgery would have me at the doctor quick smart.

Ask over on the Aneurysm Forum (link above). Someone who has been through this might see your message and have some suggestions for you.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and I hope that terrible pain is gone fast.

Thank you Lara. Like I said, I'm very new to these types of groups, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. I tried posting on the other forum. I hope it worked.

You're doing really well.

Your post to the Aneurysm Forum worked too.
