Red face Weight Gain after Stroke at 44

I was wondering if there are any supplements I can take to help control my appetite after having a stroke? All I want to do is eat. I had lost 25 lbs before the stroke and kept it off for almost 3 years but now I have gained 15 back!!

I had a similar problem gained over 5 kilos cant seem to get it off even with exercise. I suspect the TSA has affected my metabolic rate, now I always feel bloated even if I don't eat much, and yes it seems I always want to eat even if I am not hungry...??

Hello evertontho,

Welcome to NeuroTalk.

I just wanted to let you know that the original poster, SReyner, only posted once and that was back in 2012.

I also wanted to tell you that there is a

Stroke Forum

and also

Weight Loss & Healthy Living forum

Have a look around. I'm sure you'll find support from the members here and it's possible that others have experienced the same problem as you.

take care
