Default From just a concussion to merely migraines at the moment, again, in 30 short years

My name is Michael but I am usinf < MigueldelRio > for this, because I have taken a few courses from Rio Salado College on aspect of recovery. I want to write about positive experiences, to share helpful info; I need to learn more. I experienced a high speed car crash with multiple injuries in 1983. Grateful each morning to be alive. What brings me here is the concussive injury and especially the after-efects, which can turn up suprisingly, in different ways, and different times. Most recently, I have been working around headaches with pain like migraine.

I would rather celebrate the big and small victories; I have done many things and today I can learn gentle move stretch techniques from yoga, with guidance, and many helpful suggestions sometimes from a chiropractor and osteopath and naturopath, as well as regular Medical Doctors. Sometimes , headaches are "nipped in the bud" with alternative homeopathic concentrate called Arnica Montana.

Sometimes heavy duty Tylenol works better. It depends.

The after-effects of the concussive shearing actually can be minimized and yet the underlying change to my "neuro-networks" has never totally disappeared for long. Adaptable coping skills and techniques are always in play.

From just a concussion to merely migraines at the moment, again, in 30 short years...
