I'm only new to this chat game - and computers - so my hubby may come on from time to time to help me out. I've been an epileptic for nearly 40yrs (Temporal Lobe, Complex-partial) and have just gone onto Topamax instead of Trileptal. I came across the forum looking for Topamax info. I didn't know anything like this existed.

Hi, Jill... welcome to NT!  I'm glad you found us, this site can be of great use and comfort. I am newly diagnosed, so I'm sure there are plenty of things you could teach me!  That's the great thing about NT... everyone can give as well as receive.

Hi Jill and welcome.
Isn't it amazing when you discover places like this on the internet? This is a great group of people. When I stumbled onto the forums years ago, I was so surprised at the wealth of information I was able to get from people who were going through the same physical problems as I was. Also, I've made some very good friends, met them in person, and established what I think will be lifelong friendships! The people at NeuroTalk are wonderful.

Jill, Hello and welcome to NeuroTalk. As the others have said this is a great messageboard filled with a wonderful group here to share information and comfort to everyone. I too am I epilepic for about the same amount of years as yourself. I have never been on Topamax. I am currently on Lamital and Keppra (easing off Keppra.) Hope to see you around more on the other many forum including Epilepsy forum. Darlene
