Default Introduction, subarachnoid hemorrhage survivor

Hi, December of 2010 I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, underwent surgery to clip the aneurysm, and came out unscathed. I have noticed some behavioral changes, which are moderate. I also experience short term memory loss, which isn't too bad. I am here just to read others experiences, answer any questions, and offer advice. I was 24 when I had the hemorrhage and am 30 years old now.

Hello and Welcome Clipped,

You are certainly a survivor! There are many ways to cope with behavioral and memory changes. I'm sure you've learned a lot going through that.

You will find this a great place for sharing and support.

Hello and welcome aboard ! So glad to hear things went well. My mom passed away 1976 when I was 16 from an aneurysm of the brain. My brother fortunately survived one of them in his aorta. There's a great group of people on this site for support and informative answers. Look forward to talking with you Jim
