Heart Another newbie

My name is April jo. I am a happily married wife and mom to two homeschooled boys. I have been diagnosed with Fibro and recently with early menopause. My MAIN problem is I have these "mini panic attacks." They aren't severe, but I never know when thay are going to show up. So I wanted a place to come a chat with other people who understand!

Smile Hi April Jo!

My name is Rich. It's really good to meet you! I'm happy you found this place, and hope that you really do like it. I suffer with fibro too, and also from those "mini" panic attacks. Boy, they sure don't seem so mini when they are happening though, do they? They may not last real long, but it feels like hours sometimes.

I hope you meet a lot of nice people here, which is almost a sure thing if you talk to anyone. They're all a bunch of nice people. And I look forward to maybe getting to know you better, and seeing you around. Good luck and God bless you!

Hi April JO,

to Neurotalk!. I see you have met my good pal Idealist!. One of the many great and caring people here.

It has to be hard to cope with those mini panic attacks. I am sorry that they are happening.

Please check out the forums I am sure there are many folks here that will be able to relay their experiences.

Hi, April jo!

Welcome to NeuroTalk! We have a nifty search tool up in the blue bar where you can enter key words to locate discussions that interest you.

You may benefit from browsing the forum for anxiety to get a feel for what others experiences have been. Feel free to jump in anywhere or start a new thread.

Let us know if we can help in any way. See you out there, and again, welcome!

Hi April Jo, welcome to NT! I'm very glad you found us, although saddened that you have a reason to be here at all.

Here's a link to the Fibro forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12

I'm sure you'll find all the data you need there. It's also a great way to get and give the emotional support that is so very important. It also feels great to be giving back, as a lot of here are in the same boat as you, mainly housebound. (I have different diseases than you, but have the same lack of socialization, lol)

Hi April Jo. I have fibro as well and completely understand what you are going through. I see that you've been directed to the fibro forum but it sounds like you may want to visit the anxiety disorders forum as well. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50

I'm glad you found us. Welcome to NeuroTalk.
