Talking Not really new but ...

I haven't been on for a long while.

There came a point in my life, after getting septecaemia, that I had to have my SCS and the new leads that they had put in, taken out - and after 6 months of waiting for the all clear, when they came to open me up my back was such a mess that they couldn't even operate on the other bulging disk that is now bulging even more and causing problems.

So, I had a period of grace; of keeping away and taking anyone else down in that black hole that I'd gone into.

My motto now is: It is what it is.

I am managing my meds as best I can and living a good quality of life despite pain and mobility problems. (Though I don't know what I would do without my lie down, painkillers and sleep in the middle of every day)

Anyway ... I'm here to try and help others - well, support others, there's not much help that I can give otherwise.

Good to. Be back.

Good to see you again Saffy

Sorry to hear about your back though, but good for you that you are focused on managing as best possible, and to want to support others here. Thank you.
