Smile Hello from Alabama

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have DDD and am presently recovering from my fifth cervical fusion. I have also had two lumbar surgeries for spinal stenosis. I am going through the appeal process for social security disability, and I find that talking with others who have similar problems helps so much. Again, just wanted to say hello and that I'm glad I found this informative forum.

Also, the Social Security Disability is right here. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=28

Again welcome. This is a great place.

Smile Hi, Barb....

It's nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums. I totally agree that being able to talk with someone who understands is really, really helpful when it comes to having a chronic condition. And there are plenty of people here for you to talk to. I look forward to getting to know you better. Good luck!

Smile

just a note on your social security appeal's case. It helps in our area (Eastern Kenty) if you ask (write a letter) your US Representative to help in your case. Provide the necessary info: name, date of birth, social security #, narrative of your personal situation, health status, and why you're no longer able to work. Your US Representative's office should inform you if there's any activity in your file. You can do this even if you have an attorney or SS Rep.

Let me know if you do this and you think it helped your case, or at least kept you informed.

Best of luck
