Hi,

Did they do an MRI? My child has hydrocephalus, we know high csf pressures are serious! There's also idiopathic intracranial hypertension (used to be called pseudotumor cerebri). And there are other things like tumors or inflammation which could cause problems. There is more they can look at, and they should not wait. If she is young then a pediatric neurosurgeon is definitely a better person to consult. Or a much much better neurologist, gotta say neurologists think they know a lot but they don't get what a surgeon gets.

It sounds quite miserable, hope she's gotten real help since you posted this. I don't usually read this section.
