I've seen that before, steroids not good for Lyme disease - but I don't know if that means oral only or shots too??
Our link to our Lyme forum - http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=91 we have a RSI subforum & TOS forum that might be of interest too- http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24

Hi Robbin,
Welcome to NT. Not sure if steroid shots are good for Lyme or not. Logic tells me its only a temp solution that may or may not give you relief. There might be some members come along a bit later that can help more. ![]() |

Hi Robbin and welcome to NeuroTalk. This place is wonderful.
I don't have Lyme disease but I did have carpal tunnel. I did have a shot and it didn't work. I ended up having surgery for that and for trigger finger at the same time. (My middle finger would lock in a bent position and it was extremely painful pulling it back out!) The surgery was a success. My dad had both hands done and both of his surgeries were very successful. I hope you find this place as supportive and giving as I do. ![]()

Hi!
I also had a shot in my wrist several years ago and it only gave me minimal, temporary relief. I had the Carpal tunnel release surgery and was back to normal in less than 6 weeks. If you're not sure about the interaction with Lyme disease, I'd check with your primary dr for advice as well. ![]() |
