Ok so im 18 now but about a year and half ago I got knocked out playing rugby in the and I did all the concussion protocols took the 2 weeks off and what not and felt fine but I was having a little trouble with headaches and nausea.
Then I went back to the doctors and he cleared me to play so I continued to play but then one day in october of that same year I was hanging out with my friend and felt so bad I had to get out of the car I felt like puking i was dizzy and ever since then Ive recognized there was an issue. So I stopped playing all sports and have seen all sorts of doctors and they all did nothing I've been given no medication or no treatment plan nothing at all. And its frustrating because all though things are slowly getting better and I'm in college now doing well but I still get migraines almost everyday I constantly get nausea and stomach pains, blurred vision, head pressure and so on. Its frustrating because I use to go out and do anything and now its a struggle like I go out with friends and the gym and what not but its not always enjoyable. I need help and currently none of my doctors have helped its been almost 2 years and the only progress Ive made is my body naturally healing itself. I need some kind of help managing these problems or a solution I don't care what it is, it can take months, years but I need some kind of solution to this problem. Thanks to all who respond/ helps it means a lot. |

Hi Connora,
A few yrs. ago I had Post Concussion Syndrome and I would have wicked headaches and feel dizzy. If you haven't seen a neurologist yet you should see one I found these Drs. have helped the most when it comes to a concussion. What's happened is your head was injured and that in turn caused swelling of the brain along with bruising of the brain which can take some time to heel. It took me over 1 yrs. to get over my concussion but I found that cutting back on carbs and staying away from anything with nurtra sweet was the best thing that I could do because that causes to much electrical activity in the brain which can cause more problems. Also if you have a cell phone try not to use it because the frequency that the cell phone uses can effect the brain for some people causing short term memory loss. Try taking vitamin B12 1000 mcg. once a day and see if that helps you. I wish you only the best and May God Bless You! Sue |

Hi Connora,
My advice to you is to keep track of any serious problems and write it down on a calendar what time it started and stopped, I found out that sometimes a lot of the problems happened when there was a low pressure in the weather or the hormones were changing each month. Wishing you only the best and Mayt God Bless You! Sue |
