I'm a 78 year old woman. Had wisdom tooth removed 6 days ago. Still experiencing bad pain intermittently and taking strong painkillers. Swollen lumps in jaw. Do not wish to take antibiotics. Gargling hourly during day with warm salted water and using colloidal silver spray. Will this clear by itself or do I return to a dentist?

Hi Lianepain
Welcome to NeuroTalk . I suggest that you raise your worries in the dentistry forum (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum89/). The resident NT expert (Bryanna) knows lots about this - I am sure that she will be able to offer you wise thoughts. Best wishes.

Hi, I never went thru the wisdom tooth issues...Don't know if I ever got any. I have heard not everyone gets them...why I didn't do research. I'm 79. Why not call the dentist and ask him.
You may need an abx course or you could try Myrrh Tincture, which keeps all pain from my areas that might get some pain. I use no commerical toothpastes either and make my own from coconut oil base. But Myrrh is a lifesaver. |
