Default Hello everybody

Hello all,
This is my first time to a chat room so pls forgive the ignorance. I am looking for answers and have no idea where to start.

My fiance has had 6 concussions during his lifetime, starting at a young age when he fell out of a tree.

There are occasions when he becomes angry, no big deal, unless he reaches a point where he cannot seem to "turn it off" and almost comes to blows with the other person involved. I have been unable to find a "trigger" that kind of brings him back to reality. His nephew recently returned from Iraq after being shot twice and has been diagnosed with 2 traumatic brain injuries and we are noticing some uncanny similarities between the two...and we are now wondering if these episodes that Peter occasionally has could be related to his concussions.

Where do we go? Where do we start? We have good insurance and are willing to delve further, but honestly are at a loss.

Any suggestions would be eternally grateful.

Hi belladaisy2018

Welcome to NeuroTalk; I hope that you will find the community as knowledgeable and supportive as I have .

The TBI/PCS forum (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum92/) is very active if you share your fiance's concussion story there I am sure that you will get a lot of helpful suggestions.

Best wishes.
