Hello to everyone in neuro land! This is my first time with your site & I'm also newwith the whole computer thing, needles to say I'm quite over whelmed. I have been having shocking pains in my lower back, buttocks, & right leg. I am also having lower back pain, & muscle spasims. I had an MRI done that showed mild degenerative narrowing seen at L4-5 & L5-S1 discs. With mild disc bulging at same. It noted that I have small perineural cysts in the sacral nerve roots. Have done P.T. doesn't work had injecions 2x, woeked for aout a month. Neurologist done a EMG & NCS, says nerves look good. He seems to want to dismiss that it could be the cyts, I had to convense hm that I have been reading up on t myself & I strongly feel that I am on the right track so he is sending me for another MRI to see where the cyst are lcated. what should I do next ? I don't want to take medication to try to mask the problem I want to fix the problem.
So glad to find you all !!! I hopesomeone can help me out. Last edited by Chemar; 08-03-2007 at 01:11 PM. |

Hello, Pannello, sorry it took so long for someone to get back to you. All us "welcomers" have health problems too, so you can understand. Here's a link to the "Spinal Disorders" forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22 I hope it helps. You should find the forum to be full of good information, as well as kind compassionate folks ready to lend an ear. Best of luck!

Pannello, you have two threads going, be sure to check the other for replies, too! I'm sure an administrator will come by and combine them for you.
