Smile I have Parkinson's

That was the news, 8 years ago, at age 42. Thankfully I have more good days than bad, for a while the progression was slight, now it seems to be picking up speed. I work hard in the volunteer sector raising awareness and funds, that's how I cope. I will always have hope for "the cure", yet to keep facing the realities of each day is getting harder. All these great things being worked on, the time when we, the patient will actually benefit feels like years away. I don't feel like I have time to wait, and yet everyone around me talks about hope...this is a life sentence that only those with PD will truly understand. Any little grains of advice would be appreciated.
