Help Greetings and Salutations!

Hello NT Members!

I am new and confess that I have been reading NT's group discussions for about a week now. After an EMG - a very unprofessional Neurologist diagnosed me with Peripheral Neuropathy (PN). It took him this one test and 2 minutes to tell me that there is nothing he can do to help me due to being T1D for over 30 years - this is what I can expect and I am lucky that PN did not start earlier. He referred me to pain management (Do not want to take narcotics so I didn't follow up) and well here I am - Hoping and praying to find more answers here as my pain is debilitating on most days.

-D

Hi Miss D

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

I am sorry to read about your diabetic neuropathy.

The information here might help you What Is Diabetic Neuropathy? | NIDDK

Also, the PN forum here (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum20/) is very active so other members should be able to offer you support and suggestions.

Best wishes.
