Frown Hi am new and need help.

I suffer from MDD and GAD for the last 20 years. Tried most of the procedures and medications. ECT was the worse. I did 12 treatments. I can't remember much before the date of starting them. Bad decision but desperate to get better. Now I have another problem which started in Dec 2017. I have a chronic migraine with a pain level of 8/10-24/7. The doctors have tried most procedures and medications. The headache doesn't stop for a minute. I have had 4 failed back surgeries, 2 last year in which I only worked 2 months. Now I'm out of work again bedridden with this terrible headache. When I tried to get out of bed I start sweating, feel lightheaded and feel like fainting. I have little support and no one to talk to. I need to get better and get back to work before losing my job and insurance. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? Thanks.

Hi fastest600

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

I am in remission from MDD. I know somebody with treatment-resistant MDD. She found that Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) helped her. This is a possibility that might be worth investigating.

The Headache forum here (https://www.neurotalk.org/forum32/) could also help. If you describe your experiences there I am sure that you will get support and suggestions from other members.

All the best.

Hi, I really feel for you, you are going though hell, I am no doctor, but it sounds as if you are dealing with all your problems at once. In my humble opinion I think it might be beneficial to seek the Drs help for advice on how you could try to relax, while addressing the heavy issues you are up against.

Pressure is a terrible thing, it needs somewhere to go - harmlessly. I have screamed into a cushion before now.
