Default One day at a time....

Hi,
I'm turning 50 - the new 40, right? So how come when I get up in the morning I am so stiff I feel like 60?
8 years since the Parkinson's diagnosis, and every one of those days in the 8 years, I am reminded that PD has entered my life. Some days I am so angry at it, when I'm struggling to undo buttons, or have a conversation that may be stressful, only now I show the stress or nervousness as I twist around with dyskenesia. Some days are sad, when I notice other people doing such "normal" things, things they take for granted. Other days, good days, I think about all the things in my life that I have to be thankful for. I see how the struggle of PD has made me a stronger person, I listen better, I care more, I share more, and I appreciate more.
Yes, I'm scared, but really this is out of my hands now, and now is still ok, so for today I am thankful
