Default hello everyone!

i don't know that i'm very good at introductions, lol! i came here bc i was looking for a place (to replace an old place no longer active, sadly) where i can feel free to be myself in all my "all over the placeness" (at times- more often than not) and to express myself freely without worrying too much about taking up too much space, or making others feel like my need to verbalize pushes them into the background...or whathaveyou. i don't actually understand the dynamics entirely, but i have found i do best on neuro/psych groups in which you can post freely knowing that no single person has to read what you write- much less respond- and so therefore won't need to feel overburdened by your processing needs, high pitched emotions, interactions w symptoms that vary widely over time, etc.

it's also very important to me tho that i be in a space where i can listen to and help (or try to help, or just be supportive to) others. again, without feeling pushed to read or respond to any one thing in particular, altho i am a fast reader and very interested in ppl so i do tend to look at alot and respond if something helpful occurs to me to say!

as you can probably already tell, i am super super verbal, lol. it's actually one of my main challenges bc i FEEL alot, THINK alot, etc and need tons and tons of expressive outlets to prevent all that from becoming a negative in my life rather than the positive it can be- at least often can be. but w/o being able to talk things over and get things out in a bunch of different ways, the story is very different. i get more lost in my head and my world(s) and have a harder time coming out of it to engage in the material world w "real" ppl- plus i tend to get tormented besides. holding all my energy and words and stuff inside me is literally painful often. i am so glad sites like this exist!

that said- concrete intro stuff is just that my main dx's that might be important to know here are bp1 w psychotic features (i tend to go up and down alot and am probably most inclined to mixed moods that vary between "bright" mania and "dark" mania back and forth, even in the same day), adhd- which here mostly just means i tend to be present in spurts rather than in a super regulated manner. i jump on and off sites like this, kind of running through a bunch of reading, responding and posting and then jump off w/o notice, lol. sometimes that settles a little as i get used to things. hmm, also ptsd w some dissociative stuff which hasn't been too bad of late.

interpersonal stuff is complicated for me and i talk about it alot. emotional regulation/processing= same. creative expression= same.

that's probably plenty for an intro- i'm just so glad to be here! i look forward to "meeting" ppl!
