Default Is Myelomalacia caused from MS?

Hello I had a mri done on my spine and no one has explained the results to me I went to a neurosurgeon and he said he can’t comment on MS because it’s not really in his practice and that surgery will not do me any good. I’m so lost, anyone know anything about this?
