Smile Hello to All....

Hi,

My name is Andy. 8 Weeks ago I found out I had a somewhat large
Posterior Fossa Arachnoid Cyst aka The Dandy Walker. 2 Weeks ago I
had my peritoneal shunt system installed for the lack of a better phrase.

Naturally, I'm here for some answers, but more importantly I hope to
become an member. Share my experiences, trials and tribulations with
others just entering the world of neurosurgery...

Thanks to all,

Andy

Hey, Andy!

Welcome to NT. I have lived with hydrocephalus all my life (40+ years) and can tell you a LOT about living with a shunt. I also have lots of forums for you if you want them. PM me and I'll pass 'em on.

Hi Andy and Welcome!

I can't help you w/your questions, but my son had a large Polinidal Cyst that forced him to have surgery to correct. Take care and glad to have you w/us.....
