Default Old coot seeking knowledge

I am a 79-year-old retired truck driver. A non-strict vegetarian, been known to eat a slice of pizza or soft-serve frozen yogurt. Developed a tremor in left hand 4 years ago. A neurologist said Parkinson tremor but not full-blown Parkinsons. Insisted I take carb/levo 25-100 x 3 and Selegiline 5mg x 2. Last year I learned I have an Adrenal nodule (solid) that a Cardiologist has known about since 2012 and didn't tell me. Doctors here just passed the buck on it so I made an appointment at Mayos to check for Pheochromocytoma. I was checking out Mayos forum and learned of the thiamine connection and landed here. Trying to learn a few things before my Mayo trip next month. Finding anything here at Amarillo, Texas is almost impossible. We have a lot of Physicians who are experts at milking the Insurance/Medicare cow and not much else.

Hi- Welcome to you, sir. I am a newer one of the members here, and I wanted to say hello, and say that I feel WAY less stressed out about the "unknown" medical questions that I began with. I am sure that there will be some very knowledgeable and experienced folks replying to you very shortly. There is a huge amount of information on this site, so keep a pair of readers close to you! Cheers
