Default New to NeuroTalk! excited to be here

HI all,

I am a 35 year old suffer for almost 7 months now of Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome. It took quite some time for diagnosis as I have a very traumatic injury to my knee with multiple surgeries over the years, so my symptoms were blamed on that until an EMG/NCS. I am recovering from my first TT release in April. I will have my second done on the opposite leg next month. My R leg was much worse with neuropathic pain radiating into my buttock at times. I am 2 months post op now and just trying to be patient with the healing as it is VERY frustrating and I think I am not healing sometimes or I have scar tissue, or its not going to heal at all...All the negative thoughts that always flares up the pain. I am on Gabapentin 300 twice a day and it helps. That's all that helps. I am just looking for support from other neuro pain suffers and encouragement, I guess. I want to help others as well! I am glad to be here!
