Default My neuro said nothing helps with MP

But I really hope that's not true! I'm looking on the internet for self-help options-- maybe he's right. There's nothing there.

Has anyone tried CBD oil? Has anyone found a painkiller that works, prescription or otherwise? I'm desperate. I don't have the kind that tingles or goes numb. I wish! No, I have the deep burning ache that comes on unexpectedly. I can't see any pattern, anything I might be doing to bring it on.

If I wake up with minimal pain (after the usual semi-sleepless pain-filled night) I'm afraid that any little thing will bring it on. I'm living in fear of pain and pain. Those or my two modes of being now. And this after a lifetime of being a pedestrian. I love to take long walks to do my errands. Make that "loved." It's over for now. Two blocks is my radius now. I have to find places to sit and rest the nerve if I need to go farther.

This sucks so bad!!!! It makes me sad and angry. Where is the Meralgia Paresthetica Foundation that's working tirelessly on a cure? Anyone?
