Hi: my name is Catz and I had morton's neuroma surgery April 25th, 2019. It has been 3.5 months and I am still experiencing pain in my 3rd and 4th toes and the ball of my right foot. My foot is still swollen. I am wondering how long it takes for the nerves in those two toes to calm down or will they ever? The surgeon said my nerve was highly inflamed and I don't know if he removed it or left it there or took park of it. He removed the cyst. I guess I need to find out Wednesday when I see him. My two toes hurt especially at night and feel numb at times. I probably don't notice as much during the day as I am busy but today it was horrible. I was limping. Sometimes it hurts to walk. It seems like it is getting worse instead of better. I am wondering if shots would help. Can anyone relate to this issue. Maybe I am impatient and want the pain to go away. Maybe it won't ever go away. Maybe it takes a long time. Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to find a smile but it is difficult!
