Hi, care to say a little bit more about you, age, gender etc. Depression comes in many faces and I had my share for 10 long years after menopause, and it was sluggish thyroid, that so many doctors didn't find due to their numbers game. I some times call it a game, as we are all symptoms and to find that right doctor can be a real challenge. Once I got my thyroid fixed, depression gone, and I'm headed to 82.

You mention voices, and I don't know what that means. Welcome to the group, and hope you'll get some resolves. c

Default update to my first post

Hi again & thank you for your replies. My voices talk to each other & to me. They keep me awake, which leaves me tired & depressed. I was hoping to find others with a similar problem so we can share information & support each other. Thank you again, & I wish the best for all of you!

Hi Walking Light
Have you had any diagnosis that might explain the voices you are hearing?
Most frequently, this can be associated with mental health conditions like Schizophrenia, but even things like extreme stress, or even medication side effects can cause this.

If you think there may be a mental health component, and as you do also mention depression, I just want to let you know we have another forum community specifically for mental health support here Forums at Psych Central
If you feel it would be helpful, you are welcome to be a member there as well as here
