Confused Hi everyone. My thumb drives me crazy.

First of all, I apologize for my level of English.
I'm 25 years old. For a month, my thumb has involuntarily moved towards the palm of the hand. At rest it does not happen.
However, if I flex my thumb towards the hand, it contracts for a few seconds.
This contraction displaces the thumb a few millimeters.
Last week I realized that it also happens to me in the middle finger. As with the thumb, only when I flex the finger with force.
After searching the internet, I am so scared. Thank you very much and greetings.

Sounds like the start of arthritic thumb to me, but you are so young. Do you use your hands a lot? Repitition? I have this thumb issue but mine hit me in my late 40's. I move my thumb a lot and do take arthritic s upplements for the bodywide OA I live with and I'm going on 82. Keep moving it ..

Hi Alejandrprnv02

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

I am sorry to read about your thumb.

Asking your doctor to refer you to a physiotherapist or similar could help.

Best wishes.

I work in an office, I don’t think so. My thumb doesn’t hurt, it just moves after making some effort with it.

Prolotherapy injection(s) could possibly/probably tighten the ligments in your thumb. Prolo work is worldwide.
