I joined this site several months ago when I was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy. The tests ruled out neuropathy. However I continue to have neuropathy type pain(burning and tingling). My neurologist thought it was post viral syndrome and the antiviral drug (amantadine) seemed to work. I got the flu again and the symptoms returned. The nurse practitioner at the neurologist office thinks it is fibromyalgia. I’m not confident in her diagnosis.

In the meantime, I sought the help of an immunologist. He has discovered the my IgM is low and I show minimal immune response.

Sorry for the long story, but I am poking around the various boards to research the various aspects of my mystery illness. I welcome suggestions.
