Default Hi I am New to this Site

Hello. My name is Jill. My father is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. I also believe my mother is in some form of mental decline as well but she is a long way from admitting it. I am trying to learn everything that I can as fast as I can about Dementia so that I can be a proper caregiver. My father's grandmother died from Alzheimer's....only relative on my Dad's side who didn't die from the big C. I was always sure my dad would get Cancer like every one of his closest relatives....especially since he smokes like both his parents...either way I am just at a loss. I have no idea how to help him, he gets so depressed and frustrated with himself...and nothing I can say or do makes it better...
