Default Peripheral neuropathy 1st post

Hello everyone. I hope you’re all having a wonderful day! This is my first post.

I’m a 33 yo male experiencing muscular pain and spasms throughout the body (top of head to the tips of my big toes). I’m also experiencing pins and needles in my extremities from time to time (usually while in bed or after sitting for a while).

My big question is if anyone else out there experiences muscle pain and fatigue after exertion, but all of the strength still seems to be there?

OP: I've had an onset of lower back pain at 18 and now 83, but NEVER had neuropathy issues until lI went thru a hip replacement 11 yrs ago, a major complication has been nerve damage, aka neuropathy as I see it. I walked for miles, danced, exercised for decades and no neuropathy, but with the surgery YES.

A friend has dealt with neuropathy for probably 40 yrs and her issues started with skin cancers and radiation.

All I understand the neuropathy issues come from diabetes, alcoholism, surgery issues and for some medications so as I see it a major issue happened to push one into neuropathy.

Sugars and carbs overload can do a lot of nerve damage, but that was not true in my life, but I believe once a person deals with neuropathy, sugars/carbs can exacerbate the condition.

There is lot of good info here and I've posted what has truly helped me.
