A very different type of question for you, I'm sure... Let me give some facts 1st... My grandparents had 3 daughters in the 1960's that all passed away, 1 was stillborn, another only lived a few hours after birth, & the other only lived to be 21 months. All similar causes of death; 1. Encephalitis complicated by post-op hydrocephalus/pneumonia terminal. 2. Encephalic. 3. Hydrocephalic/Spina bifida congenital... They decided not to try anymore, & adopted my mother at birth. All my life ive been baffled by their untimely deaths. I want to know what are the possible causes of this happening, not once, but THREE times in all three daughters??? & Ive read that there's supposedly like a 4% chance of this recurring in another child, so how would all three have this happen? Thanks in advance for everyone's time & input!!!

Possibly the only way to find out would be genetic testing of both parents.
Or something environmental if they lived in the same place during that timeframe.
