Feels like someone punched me in my cheek.

Welcome, Wsd05!

About your head pain, might it be sinus pain? You mention going to the dentist, and so I'm assuming you had any troublesome teeth checked out and worked on?

Years ago I was having pretty bad sinus-type headaches, always on the left side. Warm gelpacks gave some relief but the only way I got rid of them was to have some needed dental work done. I found out from the dentist that tooth problems can be responsible for sinus headaches.

Good luck with the neurologist! I hope you can get some help for the pain.
