I am new and not sure which to post to. I have really bad pain on my right shin like burning. I can't hardly touch the skin there. It goes into my knee. The pain is so intense. I struggle to sleep. Sometimes I just want to cut my leg off it's so bad. My foot is also numb . I know it's probably neuropathy. I really struggle with the pain. My Dr prescribed 5mg Amitriptyline. It doesn't help at all. The pain is so intense. I don't know who to turn to.
Thanks |

Hi, Paul: I am new here too, but I also have that shin-set on fire pain as well. I attribute mine to herniated disks in my lower back and a pinched nerve or two.
I use a lot of natural remedies. I also live in a place where 3 states touch (CA/NV/AZ - Tri-State area) and all 3 States have full legalization of Cannabis. Mostly I use CBD topical products for nerve pain. A lot of CBD products are available online and I believe CBD is legal almost everywhere. My favorite company is Lazarus Naturals. They have a topical called RECOVER Bruise and Injury Cream. It has CBD, Arnica (old traditional herbal medicine), willow bark (what aspirin is made from), nettle, honeysuckle and calendula. I also use a similar topical from them called REPAIR that is good for irritated or damaged skin. I use a lot of THC too. It helps me relax around the pain and not be so angry about why I am in so much pain. |
