Default post surgery

I was hoping this forum was about nerves..so much for that idea...
has anyone had medial nerve surgery and had strange recovery symptoms?
I would like to create a sub forum...What did you experience post surgery??
I had a graft medial nerve full repair and am at 60. days. The most dramatic
symptom so far is the clothespin effect...it feels like a clothespin is clamped on to my finger nail on the affected 2 fingers and thumb. it has moved across the 3 fingers slowly and is pressure but not pain. I interpret it as progress because
at the beginning there was nothing. My tendons have been getting better and now I have decent movement 30% but no strength. I am still wearing a splint but not
for much longer. What is your experience with this? The young surgeon said to expect 12 month healing....Since it was emergency surgery and on medicare you
don't get Mayo Clinic doctors in this rural location.Bummer.
What do you know..???
