Default New Member Questions

Hello,
I am 67 years old and I am a advocate for my spouse. She has had sympotms for about one month which are consistent with TN. She has had a regular MRI which was essentially negative. She has not been started on medications.
My questions today are: 1. What are the Centers of Excellence for MVD?
2. What are the Centers of Excellence utilizing an endoscopic approach to vascular decompression?
3. What are names of the physcians who are considered expert or artists in performing the above procedures?
4. I have read about 3D-FIESTA as being an improved imaging procedure to MRA. Where is 3D-FIESTA being offered and who would be recommended to interpret the findings of the foregoing imaging studies? Has a second opinion in reading these findings proved useful?
Finding this site provides a considerable degree of comfort.
Jim

Hi Jim, welcome to NT!

Here's the link to the TN forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=26

I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I'm sure you'll find plenty of useful info in the tn forum, as well as the emotional support we all so desperately need. There is also a forum for Caregivers Support, which you'll find here: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56

Nice to meet you, Jim... and best of luck to you and your wife.
