Confused back pain and vertigo

Hi I am 40 years old and for last year I have suffered with back pain and numbness. I also never know when my day will start with my world spinning and very sick. I had a MRI this week and learned I have a herniated disk c5 and c6 also a large bone spur on t1 and t2. Just wondering if this could be related?
