Host of caserns....Confirmed...Narcolespy, surgery modified obstructive sleep apnea, and life long social phobia...which was recently diagnosed...thought for years it was a strange gift from the creator to give love to the lonesome. Have done a ton of net research and and seen many specialists over the past five or so years. Well since that big 50 year physical. Oh yea...40% blockage in one of the arteries to heart, and atrial fibulation to boot. The result of this stuff...for one, has caused a bit of cognitive decline. Two full days of testing for that alone recently. UOh yea..another...recovering alcoholic. Got arrested last year cause I fell asleep while driving our motorhome on the interstate and sideswiped a parked tractor/trailer rig on the fog line. Had five drinks earlier that day, then my provigel dose...and thought I was fine....till the provigel wore off SUDDENLY! No one was injured, but the trailer and our motorhome were completely missing one side from the crash. That brought me to my knees and have been diligent in getting things fixed the best I can. The social phobia has been the most crippling of all. All the doctor visits (people)..the legal system (people). This may seem rather odd but...I love people so very much, and have so much I need to give and offer...just terrified to reach out there. Hey everyone...Hope there's something I can offer or contribute. ooooo

Hi. I admire your courage in tackling things. It can't be easy taking stock ,and facing these challenges.I will be following your posts with interest. I have a fifteen year old daughter who is currently being evaluated by a psychologist .She finds most social situations keenly distressing and avoids lunch and break at school for that reason. She agreed to the evaluation in part because she wants to feel comfortable around groups of people and when making conversations. Fortunately she has not started self medicating with alcohol although I know that she will be at a high risk for problems with it if she doesn't become more comfortable in social situations.Anyway, hello and I ,who am also new here welcome you.
