I had cervical spinal fusion (C5-6 and C6-7) 6 months ago, and have had a good recovery. I recently met with my neurosurgeon, the xrays looked fine, and I was discharged. I would like to hear from others who've had similar surgery, especially regarding what activities they have resumed after the 6 month mark. I enjoy bicycling, shooting (long and handguns), golf, and also do a lot of work around the house. I haven't done any (well, not much anyway) of these during the recovery period. Has anyone in a similar situation resumed these activities, and if so what has been your experience? I also wonder if it is a good idea to be lifting 50lb bags of bird seed. Any insights, or questions I could answer, would be welcome. Thanks
