Wink Parkinson's Caregiver

Hello, John is my name and my wife has had Parkinson's Disease for at least 3 1/2 years. She is doing well most of the time but the down times are becoming more frequent. We are members of a local support group which helps us understand and gain knowledge about PD. Recently we became aware of Phase II testing for "Spheramine" and the stem cell treatment program offered in China.

I am interested in learing more about "Spheramine" and if this stem cell treatment procedure is safe and effective.

Thanks,

John

Hello John, I am new too on the forum. My grandpa suffers from Parkinson too.He has been seeing the same doctor for many years. He feels dizzy, has blurred vision, and has head aches. My parents and I are concerned about side effects of his medication; or, side effects of combined medications. He is currently on Dynacirc and we were wondering whether these could be due to the fact that he is taking this medication with other that are contributing to his depression. I would like to know if Dynacirc can be taken alongside Lisinopril,Darvacet and Lorazapam. I tried a google serach to see which medication cannot be taken with Dynacirc but on the link I got(http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s31055-s-DYNACIRC.aspx) nothing is mentioned about it???If anyone has a suggestion or information on what I am looking for they are the most welcome...

Hi, John! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

It sounds like you are taking a very proactive approach with your wife's care, kudos to you!

I'll be interested to learn of your experiences in this department, it seems like everything is still so up in the air with it.

Hope to see you around.
