Default Greetings!

Hello all! Even though I came here for headache discussion, I find myself in some discomfort today (and for the last 2 weeks) due to a condition called costochondritis. Symptoms include pain localized next to my right shoulder blade and running along that particular rib to to front. The doc prescribed Etodolac 400 mg, which is doing very little to alleviate the discomfort. He also said to limit my physical activities until the pain subsides, but it seems like it is taking forever...must be old age...(?)...almost 50. :/
Otherwise, I feel great! Today. So far...

Hi, Gordo! Welcome to NT.

Sorry about your odd pains, hopefully, they'll subside soon. I see that you're in SD and I'm assuming that you're safe from all the horrid fire tragedies.

Have fun and let us know if we can help you with navigating the forums.

Default San Diego Fires

Thank you, we are fine. I spent the day "gently" sweeping up ash from around my yard. If the Santa Ana winds had not subsided when they did, I would have spent the day sweeping up the ashes of my house. The fire never got closer than 10 miles, however there are many canyons in the area full of dry brush. I don't know anyone who lost their home to the fire, but a lot of people we know were evacuated. My daughter lives next to Qualcomm Stadium, and she was amazed at the number of people who showed up as volunteers to assist with taking care of the evacuees there. I work for the San Diego School District, which was off all week; we anticipate returning Monday with school resuming Tuesday.
Even though the sea breeze has returned, the air quality is still very poor.
