Default Have a hard time with my neck

I developed terrible headaches last year and a burning like pain in the base of my neck. I was scared. I went to a Neurologist. He had a MRI done. It came back fine. I didnt' get to see it. I want to now though. Anyway- he felt they were stress headaches. He prescribed me Atenenol and Lexapro for stress. I also went through a few weeks of physical therapy massage. I feel the electro massage helped me more than the meds. My headaches did go away after suffered for several horrible weeks. I cannot stress horrible. Pain really takes a toll on a person. I was 27 at the time. I felt I was too young for that.. guess not. I also quit my job to go to another. I was on cloud 9. No more bad stress!
Until this past Sunday night-.. almost a year later. My headache came back and now I am feeling the burning pain in the base of my head. WHY O WHY?
I do have every day stress. Do you think its stress or something more serious. I can't help but think I've done something to my neck somewhere along the line. The massage helped... and now its back. I'm really worried. A lady's dad that I work with has a tumor on his brain stem and its inoperatable. I always think the worst (Mrs Pessimestic). Should I request to see a Orthopadist? I'm taking several tylenols a day and switching from it to Naproxin. I'm tired of feeling bad. I dont think the ladies I work with realize how bad my pains are either.
Stress... o here it comes...
I would appreciate any comments or would love to hear from someone that had the same pain in their neck.
Thanks

Hi, Jess! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Boy, this sounds just awful. I have not had to deal with anything like it, but be assured, you'll find common ground with others around every corner here. Feel free to join in anywhere, and I hope you'll find some answers soon.
