I wanted to introduce myself as I am a new member to this website. My wife and I have been struggling for the past few years with our kids health.

Our younger daughter (10) has been experiencing Cognitive, Learning and Behavior issues during the last couple of years. We have taken her to speech therapy, vision therapy, a few phys. doctors as well as are seeing an alternative medicine doctor. Her main issues seem to be she has a mild forms of ADHD, Tourettes Syndrome, Obsessive Complusiveness plus some others that we are still trying to understand. These issues in the last 2 years have reduced her school scores, her confidence in her ability to do the work, her self-image thus she now argues and talks back at us a lot, she gives up on homework and just says I don't get it, does not have any consistent friends, is socially imature and has a hard time in groups. She baffles teachers because in one instant she gets something then a moment later she complains that she does not get it and can't do it and she seems incapable of helping herself.

These issues have affected every aspect of our home life and I am hopeful that this web site (and maybe even some others) can help us try to improve (or just cope better with) our daughter's situation.
