Smile essential tremors

i am a 79 yr. old great grandma/ i have had essentiial tremors about 4 yrs. i have always been very hyperactive and under lots of stress so i am not surprised that i have this. it started out with my neck and head shaking but now is in my hands and my voice . i have a hard time talking on the phone but i can still comunicate on the computer. i have other ailments, too which go along with old age, but i am a happy person . i know it must be awful for younger people to have this disease. it is already showing up in some of my children at young ages. i would like to know different things others are doing to cope with it and what medications they are using. best wishes to all, Grandma

Hi grandma and welcome to NeuroTalk. I'm not sure if we have a forum for Essential Tremors

Perhaps someone will come along with another suggestion.

Default Grandma, B12 Testing

I was wondering if you have ever had your blood level of your vitamin B12 tested? My step mother has Essential Tremors and they are supplementing her with B12.

Hello! Grandma! Welcome to this group. I wish I were from Texas!

Right now I wish I were wearing a 10-gallon hat, sitting high upon a horse and going to town (some place...) to get a tall glass of coca-cola to go with my pizza.

You are doing great! Don't worry about being slow at the computer. There is so much that is new and exciting that you must allow yourself time.
